https://bugs.freebsd.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=271646 Bug ID: 271646 Summary: x11/cinnamon: Circular dependency for libslurm leads to infinite loop Product: Ports & Packages Version: Latest Hardware: Any OS: Any Status: New Severity: Affects Some People Priority: --- Component: Individual Port(s) Assignee: gnome@FreeBSD.org Reporter: effingerjordan@gmail.com Flags: maintainer-feedback?(gnome@FreeBSD.org) Assignee: gnome@FreeBSD.org Running 13.1-RELEASE, with a generic kernel on amd64. On a clean and recent instal of 13.1, I upgraded my ports tree with portsnap auto, and was able to install Xorg through x11/Xorg. But cd'ing into x11/cinnamon and running make install clean (with the proper privileges) ran into a circular dependency with the following libraries: openmpi depends onlibslurm.so - not found slurm-wlm depends on libhdf5_cpp - not found hdf5 depends on libmpich - not found lipmpich depends on libslurm - not found Once the build process hits that dependency it will continue to loop until I manually kill the process. On one attempt when I directed it to a file it produced 12,445 lines. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.
