Here's what's going on: A few months ago, XORG stopped working for me on th= is device. I then had to set the IgnoreABI option in the nvidia settings to fix this problem. It would seem that everything was fine. But recently, after s= ome kind of package update, my desktop environment stopped running - lumina wit= h my i3wm window manager. I had to use only i3wm. After some time the problems started again. My system periodically went into kernel panic!!! And recentl= y, she began to go into kernel panic very often. Several times a day. It became completely impossible to work. I had to disable the video card and use free drivers. And guess what happened? On drm-kmod my DE works great and hasn't = gone into kernel-panic yet. It seems to me that the problem lies in the driver or somewhere deeper. Attached to this bug is an attachment with my core dump. It is worth noting that I am using an outdated driver and the following packages nvidia-driver-340-340.108_3 nvidia-xconfig-470.86 nvidia-settings-470.86 for my graphics card on this device: vgapci0@pci0:1:0:0: class=3D0x030000 rev=3D0xa2 hdr=3D0x00 vendor=3D0x10de device=3D0x0a65 subvendor=3D0x1043 subdevice=3D0x8334 vendor =3D 'NVIDIA Corporation' device =3D 'GT218 [GeForce 210]' class=3Ddisplay subclass =3D VGA So far I'm using drm-kmod, but now I have to make do with one monitor. This= is very inconvenient for work. --=20 You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.=
