https://bugs.freebsd.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=273267 Bug ID: 273267 Summary: security/keepass: frequent crashes Product: Ports & Packages Version: Latest Hardware: Any OS: Any Status: New Severity: Affects Only Me Priority: --- Component: Individual Port(s) Assignee: ports-bugs@FreeBSD.org Reporter: jbo@insane.engineer CC: m.muenz@gmail.com CC: m.muenz@gmail.com Flags: maintainer-feedback?(m.muenz@gmail.com) Created attachment 244262 --> https://bugs.freebsd.org/bugzilla/attachment.cgi?id=244262&action=edit crash report I've observed this with several KeePass and FreeBSD versions over the past two years: The application crashes frequently. When it happens, it happens pretty quickly after the application was launched. If the application survived for several minutes, it tends to not crash at all. The crash happens at (or right after) System.Windows.Forms.X11Keyboard:Xutf8LookupString. My current scenario is FreeBSD 13.2-STABLE on amd64 with x11-wm/bspwm as the window manager using security/keepass-2.54_2 with default options. Given that nobody else seems to be complaining about this I wonder whether it's something specific to my setup. Bspwm certainly doesn't seem to be the most popular WM. The first part of the crash report states: > Got a SIGSEGV while executing native code. This usually indicates a fatal error in the mono runtime or one of the native libraries used by your application. The full crash report is attached. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.
