Technically. yes. pkg-plist needs a fix as in the attached patch.

Logically no. I do not understand what has happened on April 20. 
But whatever happened it is not a solitary error event, but rather a change to
another stable state of things. Since April 20 I daily get similar error
reports for all versions of FreeBSD.

That is why maybe it would be reasonable to commit the patch.

Do you think it is possible to check logs of FreeBSD package builder for other
similar problems? Or make alert/inquiry on the mail list?
