Somehow I did not realize the pkg-message and the hint to the special Readme-file. After having read it and following the instructions (mainly installing net/epsonscan2-non-free-plugin from ports), I could start the GUI and scan single-shots (even via sane scanimage). batch-scanning via scanimage did not work at the moment. I had a peek into the source code and it really seems kind of messy and lot= of work to patch it (Thank you, J.R. Oldroyd !). But it also seemed to me that= the newer version of epsonscan mainly added more scanner models, so that the existing patches could "easily" be adapted since most of the necessary patc= hing work was already done by Oldroyd. I would consider this issue solved. Thanks for your help! --=20 You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.=
