I tried to upgrade matplotlib to at least 3.5.2 (3.6.0 has been released)
because it is required to upgrade math/sage, but this is not yet possible,
because matplotlib’s requirements should be satisfied by a PEP 517 installer.

A patch has been proposed in PR 255722, but not accepted.
