Are the steps involved in this to pull in the old port to a new directory (e.g.
the old devel/root), override with my new port specifications and then to
follow example 1 in chapter 3 of the Porter’s Handbook
(https://docs.freebsd.org/en/books/porters-handbook/quick-porting/)? Including
git-remove’ing any files from the old port which are not needed anymore?
