I added the git diff as "patch" file attachment into this request.

The WWW url of this project is: https://github.com/r-darwish/topgrade

This tool helps to upgrade not only the os but also used package repositories
like npm, cargo, ...
It supports a lot of OS's and Package repositories (see wiki:
