https://bugs.freebsd.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=265877 Bug ID: 265877 Summary: devel/py-llvmlite: bad LLVM dependency Product: Ports & Packages Version: Latest Hardware: Any OS: Any Status: New Severity: Affects Only Me Priority: --- Component: Individual Port(s) Assignee: ports-bugs@FreeBSD.org Reporter: adridg@freebsd.org CC: dave@dal.ca CC: dave@dal.ca Flags: maintainer-feedback?(dave@dal.ca) Each llvmlite release depends on specific LLVM versions. See https://github.com/numba/llvmlite for a table. The version in ports (0.34, which is fairly old) requires LLVM 10 (but does indeed build with 9). Tying the port to LLVM_DEFAULT is wrong, and blocks updating the default. See also #263456 -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.
