https://bugs.freebsd.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=256913 Bug ID: 256913 Summary: databases/rocksdb: Honor CPUTYPE instead of forcing '-march=native' on x86 Product: Ports & Packages Version: Latest Hardware: Any OS: Any Status: New Severity: Affects Only Me Priority: --- Component: Individual Port(s) Assignee: sunpoet@FreeBSD.org Reporter: jkim@FreeBSD.org Assignee: sunpoet@FreeBSD.org Flags: maintainer-feedback?(sunpoet@FreeBSD.org) Created attachment 226142 --> https://bugs.freebsd.org/bugzilla/attachment.cgi?id=226142&action=edit Honor CPUTYPE instead of forcing '-march=native' on x86 We always build it with "-march=native" for x86 but we should honor CPUTYPE. With the attached patch, we can build it on one CPU and run it on another. Also, I removed a hack to force disabling SSE 4.2 on i386 because I believe this patch should naturally fix the problem. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.
