[Bug 255683] math/maxima fails to install due to strange staging error

I have created a patch for configure.ac that appears to do the trick, but will
let my build/install complete to make sure it does everything it is supposed
to.

The build process *does* regenerate configure from configure.ac, so patching
configure.ac seems to be all that's needed.

I'll attach the patch that simply needs to be dropped into the "files"
directory to make it work as soon as I confirm that it really does.
