https://bugs.freebsd.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=257380 Bug ID: 257380 Summary: [NEW PORT] sysutils/cdist: usable configuration management Product: Ports & Packages Version: Latest Hardware: Any OS: Any Status: New Severity: Affects Only Me Priority: --- Component: Individual Port(s) Assignee: ports-bugs@FreeBSD.org Reporter: contact@evilham.com "cdist is a usable configuration management system. It adheres to the KISS principle and is being used in small up to enterprise grade environments. It natively supports IPv6 since the first release. cdist is an alternative to other configuration management systems." My personal definition of cdist is: it's shell on steroids for server and workstation management. The BSDs are well supported and it only requires python on the controller host, for the controlled hosts only a POSIX shell is required. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.
