Hi Michael. If the issue can be isolated to be a freebsd or freebsd port
specific issue, then here is great, otherwise upstream is more appropriate.
I would obtain isolation advice from KDE and FreeBSD support channels (IRC,
Forums, etc).

We have a KDE/desktop specific channel at #freebsd-desktop
Feel free to re-open this issue rather than create a new one if it turns out to
be a freebsd/port issue
