https://bugs.freebsd.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=257852 Bug ID: 257852 Summary: [NEW PORT] x11-fm/spacefm: Multi-panel tabbed file and desktop manager Product: Ports & Packages Version: Latest Hardware: Any OS: Any Status: New Severity: Affects Only Me Priority: --- Component: Individual Port(s) Assignee: ports-bugs@FreeBSD.org Reporter: beyert@cs.ucr.edu Attachment #227208 text/plain mime type: Created attachment 227208 --> https://bugs.freebsd.org/bugzilla/attachment.cgi?id=227208&action=edit x11-fm_spacefm.shar I ported spacefm to FreeBSD without usage of HAL, and with FLAVORS support for both gtk2 or gtk3. Most functionality works, except for the procfs paths, which is disabled for now, since pointing it to linprocfs causes a core dump. Most of the linuxisms of the file manager have been worked around, thanks in no small part to the FreeBSD inotify interface, as well as patches to the oddly written configure script. At some point, I may fix the proc filesystem support to work on regular /proc instead of /compat/linux/proc (or write the equivalent FreeBSD system calls), but in spite of this missing features, this file manager appears to be working, and even now, may be appealing to Linux users on the fence about FreeBSD. At some point, I would like to improve its VFS support. File is attached (shar archive) -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.
