This change inevitably leads to different rendering results, and you might change port's options to adapt it to your taste (or use the new "FREETYPE_PROPERTIES" environment variable). The environment variable "FREETYPE_PROPERTIES" can be used to control the driver properties. Example: FREETYPE_PROPERTIES=truetype:interpreter-version=35 \ cff:no-stem-darkening=1 \ autofitter:warping=1 This allows to select, say, the subpixel hinting mode at runtime for a given application. If LONG_PCF_NAMES port's option was enabled, the PCF family names may include the foundry and information whether they contain wide characters. For example, "Sony Fixed" or "Misc Fixed Wide", instead of "Fixed". This can be disabled at run time with using pcf:no-long-family-names property, if needed. Example: FREETYPE_PROPERTIES=pcf:no-long-family-names=1 How to recreate fontconfig cache with using such environment variable, if needed: # env FREETYPE_PROPERTIES=pcf:no-long-family-names=1 fc-cache -fsv The controllable properties are listed in the section "Controlling FreeType Modules" in the reference's table of contents (/usr/local/share/doc/freetype2/reference/index.html, if documentation was installed). ===> asedit-1.3.2_5 depends on shared library: libXm.so.4 - found (/usr/local/lib/libXm.so.4) ===> Returning to build of asedit-1.3.2_5 =========================================================================== =======================<phase: configure >============================ ===> Configuring for asedit-1.3.2_5 imake -DUseInstalled -I/usr/local/lib/X11/config =========================================================================== =======================<phase: build >============================ ===> Building for asedit-1.3.2_5 --- Asedit.ad.h --- --- as_menuh.o --- --- Asedit.ad.h --- ./ad2c.scr .//Asedit.ad > Asedit.ad.h --- as_menuh.o --- rm -f as_menuh.o cc -c -O2 -pipe -fstack-protector-strong -fno-strict-aliasing -I/usr/local/include -DCSRG_BASED -DFUNCPROTO=15 -DNARROWPROTO as_menuh.c --- file_rw.o --- rm -f file_rw.o cc -c -O2 -pipe -fstack-protector-strong -fno-strict-aliasing -I/usr/local/include -DCSRG_BASED -DFUNCPROTO=15 -DNARROWPROTO '-DBACKUP_FILE_SUFFIX=".bak"' file_rw.c file_rw.c:271:42: warning: format string contains '\0' within the string body [-Wformat] sprintf (system_call_buf, "cp %s %s\0", file_name , backname); ~~~~~~~~~^~~ file_rw.c:275:18: warning: call to undeclared function 'system'; ISO C99 and later do not support implicit function declarations [-Wimplicit-function-declaration] status = system(system_call_buf); ^ file_rw.c:335:40: warning: format string contains '\0' within the string body [-Wformat] sprintf (system_call_buf, "cp %s %s\0", tempname, file_name); ~~~~~~~~~^~~ file_rw.c:336:14: warning: call to undeclared function 'system'; ISO C99 and later do not support implicit function declarations [-Wimplicit-function-declaration] status = system(system_call_buf); ^ file_rw.c:337:5: warning: call to undeclared function 'unlink'; ISO C99 and later do not support implicit function declarations [-Wimplicit-function-declaration] unlink (tempname); ^ 5 warnings generated. --- clipbrd.o --- rm -f clipbrd.o cc -c -O2 -pipe -fstack-protector-strong -fno-strict-aliasing -I/usr/local/include -DCSRG_BASED -DFUNCPROTO=15 -DNARROWPROTO clipbrd.c --- write_l.o --- rm -f write_l.o cc -c -O2 -pipe -fstack-protector-strong -fno-strict-aliasing -I/usr/local/include -DCSRG_BASED -DFUNCPROTO=15 -DNARROWPROTO write_l.c --- find_pos.o --- rm -f find_pos.o cc -c -O2 -pipe -fstack-protector-strong -fno-strict-aliasing -I/usr/local/include -DCSRG_BASED -DFUNCPROTO=15 -DNARROWPROTO find_pos.c --- asutil.o --- rm -f asutil.o cc -c -O2 -pipe -fstack-protector-strong -fno-strict-aliasing -I/usr/local/include -DCSRG_BASED -DFUNCPROTO=15 -DNARROWPROTO asutil.c asutil.c:999:18: warning: format string is not a string literal (potentially insecure) [-Wformat-security] fprintf(stderr, syntaxStr); /* print out the syntax */ ^~~~~~~~~ asutil.c:999:18: note: treat the string as an argument to avoid this fprintf(stderr, syntaxStr); /* print out the syntax */ ^ "%s", --- undo.o --- rm -f undo.o cc -c -O2 -pipe -fstack-protector-strong -fno-strict-aliasing -I/usr/local/include -DCSRG_BASED -DFUNCPROTO=15 -DNARROWPROTO undo.c undo.c:360:26: error: incompatible pointer to integer conversion assigning to 'char' from 'void *' [-Wint-conversion] undo_el->ins_text[len] = NULL; ^ ~~~~ undo.c:382:26: error: incompatible pointer to integer conversion assigning to 'char' from 'void *' [-Wint-conversion] undo_el->del_text[len] = NULL; ^ ~~~~ 2 errors generated. *** [undo.o] Error code 1 make[1]: stopped in /wrkdirs/usr/ports/editors/asedit/work/asedit-1.3.2 --- asutil.o --- 1 warning generated. 1 error make[1]: stopped in /wrkdirs/usr/ports/editors/asedit/work/asedit-1.3.2 ===> Compilation failed unexpectedly.
