pfctl -v -sr performance

Hi,

I'm using the FreeBSD stable/12 branch. My pf ruleset has 8000 rules.
I'm collecting hit counters with a 5 seconds interval. But the command
pfctl -v -sr -a "anchorname" takes about 15 seconds.
Is it possible to speed up ?
