After waiting some weeks (and some Kernel Patches :-) ) I gave it a new chance
again this morning.
IT WORKED !!!
it did not crash anymore and is now up and running fine for at least 2hrs.
(remember: before it did not survive for 30s after a reboot).

So I guess we can close this strange case now.
