A port is a build recipe for something. FreeBSD can't be a collection
of recipes, it is also the code itself.
FreeBSD Ports is a meta-buildsystem, designed to pull from various
sources and build using different underlying buildsystems.
Under this angle I can't agree with the "FreeBSD is ports" definition.
