Rust's poor ecosystem and lack of a standard library doesn't really help.

Its fans are also a loud minority. The sooner people start looking at it the proper way, as a tool, brighter days for Linux will come. Hopefully the time will come for that.

For the time being, it truly is a burden though! I'd call it an investment, patience people!
