I wrote up a patch at: https://reviews.freebsd.org/D45056 for adding 
O_DIRECT support for ggated/ggatec.

I have found it to be very useful when exporting poudriere build images 
from my NAS to not have it trash the fscache on the machine.

(Would love to have it in 14.1)
