Hi Jan,

Regarding the hang issue (not the topic of this PR), my PR #254694 got marked
as a duplicate of #221185, and in that one Kyle Evans writes "_umtx_op handling
has been the bane of my existence...".

Am I correct in assuming that what he is describing there is the reason for the
hang?

And will there ever be the change he is hinting at?

I probably should ask him directly. :-)
