As I have said before reading is irrelevant. It occurs when writing to a
congested server, and not all writes have finished when the writing process
exits.  
It also does not occur using nfsv2 - the process stays in state nfsio unntil
writes are finished, but nfsv2 is dog slow and has other problems.
