I'm unclear on the contrasting case: when you use
/boot/loader.conf material instead of /etc/rc.conf
material what happens these days? No crashes?
Fairly rare crashes of the usual types? Fairly
rare crashes of other types? A mix of fairly rare
crashes of the 2 categories? (I may well not be
thinking of everything that would be of note.
So take the questions as just illustrative.)
