Oh, and changes done on a client are pushed to
the NFS server when the file close(2)'d or fsync(2)'d.
(Saving in some editor might not do either, in which
case the NFS server is not up to date until the syncer
gets around to it.)

Readdirplus is only done on the FreeBSD client if the
"rdirplus" mount option is used.
