            Bug ID: 283739
Summary: FreeBSD/amd64 manual reference link is incorrect
           Product: Documentation
           Version: Latest
          Hardware: amd64
                OS: Any
            Status: New
          Severity: Affects Some People
          Priority: ---
         Component: Website
          Assignee: doc@FreeBSD.org
          Reporter: dudleyi@yahoo.com

The page https://www.freebsd.org/platforms/amd64/ references the "AMD64
Architecture Programmer’s Manual Volumes 1–5" but provides a link that is
broken. Clicking the link results in a 404 error and redirects users to a
generic search landing page on AMD's site.

Steps to Reproduce

1. Navigate to https://www.freebsd.org/platforms/amd64/.
2. Locate the reference to the "AMD64 Architecture Programmer’s Manual Volumes
1–5".
3. Click the provided link (currently pointing to
https://www.amd.com/system/files/TechDocs/40332.pdf).

Actual Results

1. Clicking the link results in a 404 Error response from AMD's internal web
server.
2. The user is redirected to
https://www.amd.com/en/search/documentation/hub.html, a generic library search
landing page.

Expected Results

1. The link should correctly direct users to the manual's new location:
https://www.amd.com/content/dam/amd/en/documents/processor-tech-docs/programmer-references/40332.pdf.
2. Users should be able to access the intended document without encountering
errors or needing additional navigation.

Build Date & Hardware

1. Issue encountered on FreeBSD website as of December 30, 2024.
2. This issue is specific to the FreeBSD website and is platform-independent.
All environments tested (Windows & FreeBSD) experience the same issue.
