https://bugs.freebsd.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=260937 Bug ID: 260937 Summary: Community page update Product: Documentation Version: Latest Hardware: Any URL: https://www.freebsd.org/community/ OS: Any Status: New Severity: Affects Many People Priority: --- Component: Website Assignee: doc@FreeBSD.org Reporter: grahamperrin@gmail.com Created attachment 230709 --> https://bugs.freebsd.org/bugzilla/attachment.cgi?id=230709&action=edit Screenshot: comp.unix.bsd.freebsd.announce > FreeBSD’s community is diverse and extensive, Additions ========= Let's not omit the FreeBSD community in Reddit. Please add: <https://www.reddit.com/r/freebsd/> NNTP ==== Over the past year, only around twenty discussions have been posted to comp.unix.bsd.freebsd.announce (screenshot attached). NNTP is alive, but archaic. Sidebar ======= I reckon, the Community page sidebar can lose the 'Newsgroups' link. If people really want NNTP (usenet), they can find what's required in the Handbook. Instead, the sidebar might be a good place for the link to /r/freebsd Thanks -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.
