            Bug ID: 268517
           Summary: FreeBSD ports search: INDEX-13: for some ports, the
                    stated requirements are incorrect
           Product: Documentation
           Version: Latest
          Hardware: Any
                OS: Any
            Status: New
          Severity: Affects Some People
          Priority: ---
         Component: Website
          Assignee: doc@FreeBSD.org
          Reporter: grahamperrin@freebsd.org

<https://www.freebsd.org/cgi/ports.cgi?query=firefox&stype=name&sektion=www>
includes this, amongst the requirements for firefox-108.0.1_2,2:

* python27-2.7.18_2.

<https://www.freshports.org/www/firefox/> and
<https://www.freshports.org/lang/python27/> show 108.0.1_2,2 and 2.7.18_2 as
current versions, however, as far as I can tell:

* www/firefox neither directly, nor indirectly, requires lang/python27
  to build or run.

From <https://www.freebsd.org/cgi/ports.cgi?stype=faq>:

> The script ports.cgi use the file INDEX-13 as database for its
> operations. INDEX-13 is updated automatically every two hours.
