I’m unable to log in to my system after shutting it down yesterday. I’m
running 14.2-STABLE.

Attempting to log in gives a message “/var/run/xdg/[my username] isn’t
owned by 1001:0”
and “Jan 18 13:26:34 [my hostname] login[79375]: pam_open_session():
Session failure”
