The challenge I encountered with the original Berkeley DB 1.85 or 1.86 sources is the need for porting as I've tried compiling, it requires fixing the source code' errors in order to work in 13.0-RELEASE or 14.0-CURRENT. That's why I wonder how the project is still able to compile the old 1.86 sources in the base system though you've said that it's been trimmed down and customized. Thanks, Archimedes
