Bugzilla Automation <bugzilla@FreeBSD.org> has asked freebsd-chromium (Nobody) <chromium@FreeBSD.org> for maintainer-feedback: Bug 279998: www/chromium: Skype does not work after implement selectable audio backend support https://bugs.freebsd.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=279998 --- Description --- Previously I used chromium built from ports with audio backend alsa. Skype calls worked with it. After #246449 was committed I use chromium package. Tried Skype call recently, with default audio backend sndio, but people can't hear me. Then I added --audio-backend=alsa and tried again, but the same issue. Fortunately no .so version bump for dependencies since version 124. So I just installed chromium 124 with alsa and tried again. It works. Looks like alsa does not activated/used properly after implement selectable audio backend support was committed.
