Thanks, Gleb - this is fabulous! I'll try to get a kernel compiled with the
patch and start testing soon. Given what we know so far, it will be at least 10
days before I'll know if this works, and will want to test far longer to be
sure.

Given what you've learned about this, is there anything you can think of to
accelerate the process or drive the issue to make it happen more quickly?
