Please excuse my tangled questioning regarding the '-ss' default.

Hopefully a better options outline:
 - auto-demote default/rc.conf '-ss' definition to '-s' in case any config
defines @remote destination
 - auto-promoting to '-s' behaviour inside syslodg(8) in case config has
@remote destination and making '-ss' the default in syslogd(8) itself, so
'syslogd_flags=' can be removed from defaults/rc.conf

For the latter - which I would prefer - we'd need to establish an
additional/new flag to provide today's default syslogd(8) behaviour (which
isn't the actual default as long as user overrides syslogd_flags="" in rc.conf)
