Barring mistakes, I'm reading everything quite carefully.  What are you talking
about?  It's the first time you mention 'portsnap' and installing the ports
tree as of "today" in this PR.

In any case, this is irrelevant to what I'm saying.  I'm talking about some
remnants of an old build in the form of pre-existing 'work*' sub-dirs in
'graphics/drm-15-kmod'.  This is the most straightforward explanation for
"building" modules that don't have the correct symbols, as the traces you
posted show.

It's less than a minute to check for that and re-doing the procedure with an
additional 'make clean'.  Incomparably much less than trying to grasp what RCU
is, or comparing the DRM code of versions 5.15 and 6.1.  So, could you please
proceed with my request?
