Actually I am not sure it is the widget size per se.

I accepted vt100 as the default console (although xterm would be more accurate,
I am using iTerm on macOS to SSH to the host and running tmux) when installing
a VM (vm-bhyve) and the widget behaviour in general is odd - delete does not
work properly and cursor movement is also odd.

Changing to xterm helps some of it but it still does not behave properly,
however it is difficult to come up with a way to properly describe the bug...


Maybe I should do a screencast or something.
