As an aside, in a plain (non-vlan) setup, the broadcom NIC "negociated" 1 GBit
with an Nvidia 2010 switch on a 1/10/15 GBit port set to 'auto'. The port had
to be set to 25 GBit before the NIC accepted the speed.
