Currently, console=efi means 'do what the EFI firmware is telling us to do'
though setting boot_multicons and boot_serial in loader.conf should override
that. Things are a bit fuzzy around these variables though.

Can you do a 'show' at the loader prompt and report all the variables set (by
picture if need be)? Or just boot the kernel and report the kenv if you can't
do that easily. Unfortunately, I need more than just what's reported. Also
after boot can you report the output of the following commands (as root, you'll
need efirt in your kernel or loaded, and sudo means 'run it as root somehow'):

sudo efivar --device-path 8be4df61-93ca-11d2-aa0d-00e098032b8c-ConIn
sudo efivar --device-path 8be4df61-93ca-11d2-aa0d-00e098032b8c-ConOut

Thanks!
