https://bugs.freebsd.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=276793 Bug ID: 276793 Summary: vt(4) doesn't appreciate font specified in loader.conf(5) on bios boot Product: Base System Version: 14.0-RELEASE Hardware: Any OS: Any Status: New Severity: Affects Some People Priority: --- Component: bin Assignee: bugs@FreeBSD.org Reporter: concussious.bugzilla@runbox.com Hi, in loader.conf(5) I have: screen.font="8x16" Where I have a font supporting more languages installed as "/boot/8x16.fnt". On the efi boot: this works beautifully and is really cool On bios boot: system boots fine but never loads the specified font (zh-tw song titles show tofu boxes in ls/everything else in vt(4)) selecting the font after logging in via vidfont(1) does work. Tested on FreeBSD-14-RELEASE Thanks! -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.
