https://bugs.freebsd.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=274564 Bug ID: 274564 Summary: mkimg testing should be functional as well Product: Base System Version: CURRENT Hardware: Any OS: Any Status: New Severity: Affects Only Me Priority: --- Component: misc Assignee: bugs@FreeBSD.org Reporter: imp@FreeBSD.org The current mkimg test suite prevents regression. However, it doesn't ensure that the output is right. It would be great if we had a number of tests that would look at the partitions placed into at least the raw images to make sure they conform to constraints contained in the relevant standards and/or other functional elements that we want (eg if we implement a mkimg --aligned XXX, to make sure that the partitions start aligned to XXX). -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.
