            Bug ID: 267782
Summary: AMD Ryzen 5 hangs on 13.1, fine on 12.3
           Product: Base System
           Version: 13.1-RELEASE
          Hardware: amd64
                OS: Any
            Status: New
          Severity: Affects Only Me
          Priority: ---
         Component: kern
          Assignee: bugs@FreeBSD.org
          Reporter: pch-freebsd-bugs-1@u-1.phicoh.com

I'm trying to upgrade an AMD Ryzen 5 2600X system with a Gigabyte AB350-Gaming
mainboard from 12.3 to 13.1.

The system was completely stable on 12.3. On 13.1 during a poudriere run it
hangs. I captured the following message:

MCA: Bank 3, Status 0x9820000000000150
MCA: Global Cap 0x0000000000000117, Status 0x0000000000000000
MCA: Vendor "AuthenticAMD", ID 0x800f82, APIC ID 5
MCA: CPU 5 COR EN ICACHE L0 IRD error
MCA: Misc 0xd01b0fff00000000

I ran memtest, that gave nothing. I installed microcode_update, but that
doesn't seem to load anything.

I didn't upgrade the BIOS yet. That is listed as
American Megatrends Inc.
        Version: F21
        BIOS Revision: 5.13
