https://bugs.freebsd.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=262760 Bug ID: 262760 Summary: Trying to import certain zpool leads to kernel panic on amd64 Product: Base System Version: Unspecified Hardware: amd64 OS: Any Status: New Severity: Affects Some People Priority: --- Component: kern Assignee: bugs@FreeBSD.org Reporter: beebeetles@posteo.de After destroying a zfs dataset on my zfs root partition, my machine entered a boot-reboot cycle. Preliminary investigation appears to show that this was caused by a kernel panic following a `zpool import`. Attempts to import the said zpool trigger kernel panics on two different amd64 machines I have tested on, but this problem does not seem to affect aarch64 machines. Below is the kernel stack trace: ``` panic: VERIFY3(l->blk_birth == r->blk_birth) failed (2270319 == 2248100) cpuid = 7 time = [...] KDB: stack backtrace: db_trace_self_wrapper() at [...] vpanic() at [...] spl_panic() at [...] livelist_compare() at [...] avl_find() at [...] dsl_livelist_iterate() at [...] bpobj_iterate_blkptrs() at [...] bpobj_iterate_impl() at [...] dsl_process_sub_livelist() at [...] spa_livelist_delete_cb() at [...] zthr_procedure() at [...] fork_exit() at [...] fork_trampoline() at [...] --- trap [...], rip = [...], rsp = [...], rbp = [...] --- KDB: enter: panic ``` -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.
