                OS: Any
            Status: New
          Severity: Affects Only Me
          Priority: ---

screenshot

- AMD Ryzen Treadripper 3970X, 128GB RAM
- small hard disk with GPT partition and GRUB bootloader
- 2TB Samsung 870 PRO SSD for operating systems, partitioned as follows:
- 128GB, zfs pool for BSD
- 128GB, btrfs for Gentoo
- 300GB, ntfs for Windows
- 16MB, Microsoft Reserved Partition

FreeBSD 13.0-STABLE updated by-weekly from git source.
Ports also updated bi-weekly.

Normal desktop system use during previous day, web browsing, text/pictures
editing etc.
No system updates, no software updates during the day.
Previous system update 3 days ago.
No hardware changes.
Machine was shut down overnight as usual.

Today BSD does not boot, see attached screenshot.
Gentoo and Windows work fine.

Why should BSD suddenly care about a Windows partition that is not even listed
in fstab? And if it cares today, why did it not care the day before?
