This prevents the BASH-Completion PlugIn from Complementing the Command Keys. Pl= ease provide a Detailed Description of the Keys with the =C2=ABgrep --help=C2=BB= Command, if only for the sake of COMPATIBILITY with such a Wonderful Thing as BASH-Completion. The same goes for egrep, fgrep, rgrep, and pgrep (It gave a brief hint before). BASH-Completion breaks after =C2=ABgrep --help=C2=BB It would be Great if egrep, fgrep and rgrep also work with =C2=AB/ports/shells/bash-completion=C2=BB. Despite the fact that grep, egre= p, fgrep, rgrep are Hard Links to One Binary File (=C2=ABfind "$(dirname -- "$(wherei= s -b -q "grep")")" -samefile "$(whereis -b -q "grep")"=C2=BB), egrep Options have n= ever been completed with BASH-Completion before (I don't know, Why). I'm not sure if the InCompatibility is only caused by Grep behavior, a BSD-Patch for "/usr/ports/shells/bash-completion" might be needed=E2=80=A6 P.S. Found, that egrep Completion can be made just by adding =C2=ABcomplete= -F _longopt "egrep" "fgrep" "rgrep"=C2=BB into =C2=AB~/.bashrc=C2=BB in FreeBS= D 12.1 (not in 13.0). P.P.S. I understand, FreeBSD uses CSH (TCSH) by Default, but I do not think, that All FreeBSD Fans MUST use TCSH or OpenBSD Fans MUST use KSH. I Spent a Month! Trying to BeFriend TCSH and MidNigth ComManDer, then installed BASH. BASH needs just one Option =C2=ABHISTCONTROL=3D"ignorespace:erasedups"=C2= =BB to keep History Clean of MC Commands and two more Options =C2=ABbind '"\e[A" History-Search-BackWard'=C2=BB & =C2=ABbind '"\e[B" History-Search-ForWard'= =C2=BB to NaviGate the History, like TCSH. --=20 You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.=
