I have a request for any documentation on AMD64 and Ryzen architecture that is
relevant to the various high speed timers, related support chipsets, and so on.
 If possible I'll make a debug kernel specifically to troubleshoot this.  Also
if there are specific files or modules that anyone might consider worth my time
to look at closely, that would be appreciated (thanks).

This is the CPU I'll focus on (from dmesg)
CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 2600 Six-Core Processor             (3393.71-MHz K8-class CPU)
