It looks like a number of race conditions in= the NFS4 and packet processing layers were caught by syzkaller runs and fixed in the last few 5.4 LTS updates. My scenario, running 5.4.179, the oopses I mentioned have seemingly left as mysteriously as they arrived, so my thinki= ng is the flaw was on the Linux-side and not on the FreeBSD-side.
