Tested kevans' test loader.efi on a VM (libvirt/QEMU/KVM, OVMF) and it
didn't choke - it booted normally. Will test again on real hardware that's 
failed using the RC3 loader.efi in the (local, 10 hours from now) morning
and note here how that goes.
