independent and funnywise the nvidia-driver-340 is working on 13-STABLE and
also recognizes the 7xx cards

only thing to be observed is you need to load nvidia.ko and not nvidia-modeset,
what is what I did before and doesn't work, nvidia can be loaded in loader.conf
or rc.conf as well as in xorg.conf if necessary

for me this doesn't solve this ticket but is a workaround
