make(1) patch

Create a patch to correct some of the issues identified.
- Fix spelling of compatibility
- Handle MAKEFLAGS consistently as an environment variable
- Expand contractions
- Add information on what happens when MAKEFLAGS has a dash prepended to it
- Add a Harvard comma to clarify meta mode
