I did not see a similarity between the two bugs.  Did you post to the correct
bug report with the correct related bug?

This particular report is from 2009 and the P.R. has been closed.  I assume
they fixed it.  (I also do not have hardware to attempt to repro this old bug
on if I ever needed to - the motherboard went bad on that particular laptop)
