RPi* firmware updates normally have dtb updates,
as the dtb's are effectively part of the linux
kernel and are changed regularly as the update
the kernel. Jumping the RPi* firmware somewhat
more than 2 years (20210303 vintage -> 20230405
vintage, as coded into the release tags) has
lots of changes, including in the .dtb files.

The FreeBSD kernel will need to catch up in
some respects if some aspects are to again be
operable that were before.
