I have poudriere set up on another Pi3, you might remember
it from the duplicate MAC caper. I'll try over there once
ports have updated.

No such line 209 in input file, ignoring


I showed the output of find and sum as a sort of audit, hoping it would turn 
out I was manually copying files from or to the wrong place. Since the sums
agree between the stage directory and /boot/msdos it appears that hope was
mistaken. 

Speaking of the MAC fiasco, is USB subject to similar conflicts? The Pi3
giving me trouble with u-boot is one of the two with the MAC conflict.
That might be consistent with the successful disk/enclosure swap.
